Tiphaine Girault (she/her) serves as a Program Officer for the Explore and Create program at the Canada Council for the Arts. Over the past 10 years, she has focused her work on supporting new and early-career artists, as well as Deaf and Disability artists. With a background in visual arts and experience as a graphic novelist, Tiphaine brings a unique lens to her role. Her first language is Québec Sign Language (LSQ), and she is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), French, and English.
**Funding Accessibility October 9, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM Presenters: Esther Desrosiers, Program Officer, Supporting Artistic Practice, Canada Council for the Arts, and Tiphaine Girault, Program Officer, Explore and Create, Canada Council for the Arts Location: Aki Studio** This session will spotlight key updates and introduce the Artistic Creation and Sector Support, Innovation and Development funding opportunities at the Canada Council for the Arts. Participants will also learn how to request Access Support and Application Assistance to ensure equitable access to funding opportunities. We’ll also share practical guidance and resources to help applicants strengthen their grant applications. Whether you're an individual artist or part of an organization or a group, this session is designed to help you make the most of these programs. This session will be held both in English and ASL (with live interpretation).
