Esther Desrosiers (she/her) is a Program Officer with the Supporting Artistic Practice program at the Canada Council for the Arts. With eight years of experience at the Council, she has worked closely with art professionals, cultural workers, and non-profit organizations across the country. Her background lies in visual and digital arts, with deep roots in artist-run centres. A native French speaker from the province of Québec, Esther is fluent in English and she is currently learning American Sign Language (ASL), deepening her commitment to inclusive and accessible communication.

Participants will also learn how to request Access Support and Application Assistance to ensure equitable access to funding opportunities. We’ll also share practical guidance and resources to help applicants strengthen their grant applications. Whether you're an individual artist or part of an organization or a group, this session is designed to help you make the most of these programs. This session will be held both in English and ASL (with live interpretation).
