Bill is the Director of Community Development for Accessibrand, Canada’s first accessibility-focused creative agency built by creatives with disabilities.

Bill has extensive professional and community experience in leadership, communications and disability. He has founded several disability-related organizations. He spent most of his career as the Chief Executive Officer of Spinal Cord Injury Ontario and Canada. During that time, he partnered with RARE Theatre Company to develop a play about people with spinal cord injuries. The play had 22 sold-out performances at the Tank House Theatre in the Distillery District.

Bill has contributed his leadership and expertise to the Government of Canada through the Federal Accessibility Legislation Alliance, where he worked on developing the Accessible Canada Act. He was also a member of the Working Group on Alternate Format Materials and the Parliamentary Precinct Advisory Panel. The Treasury Board asked Bill to lead an Accessible Communications training for the Public Service education program. Bill served on the Disability Advisory Committee for the Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Disability Inclusion. He currently sits on the Board of Directors for Accessibility Standards Canada.
